Bill-Con started as a celebration of Brother Bill K's triumphant return from Iraq. It was so much fun we did it again. And then again to celebrate Brother Jim's return from war. Now its become a habit that's hard to kick. As always thanks to go Brother Bill Johnson for organizing everything.

Tentative Schedule of Events (so far):

  • 12:30pm to 4:30pm The 2007 Nebraska Cup DBA Tournament Brother Bill Johnson
    Description:
    The 2007 Nebraska Cup DBA tournament will be a 4 round Classical Age tournament. All armies from Book II will be legal. Terrain will not be preset and all players will play four games. Twenty points will be given for each win, 4 pts for a camp, 3pts for a general and 1 pt each for destroyed enemy units. Prizes will include a painted Marian Roman army and the coveted Nebraska Cup.
    Players:
    There will be 16 slots available.

  • 12:30pm to 2:30pm Warlord Demo - Battle for Riversbend Brother Bob Applegate
    Description:
    The Vampires of Thule have sent their minions to 'harvest' the Village of Riversbend. The villagers are unprepared for the attack, but a force of Crusaders has arrived to help fend off the walking dead and rescue the unlucky villagers.

    Learn how to play Warlord, Reaper Miniature's Fantasy Skirmish game. Players will either control the villianous Necropolis forces or the Heroic Crusaders.

  • 1:00pm to 4:00pm Napoleonic 25mm Cavalry Skirmish Brother Carl Linnerson
    Description:
    A French Convoy must get through back to France after the Battle of Leipzig. However, the way is block by the Coalition Cavalry. Can the French hold the cross road long enough to escape.
    Skirmish game using modified Brother v. Brother. (Hussar v. Hussar)

  • 1:00pm to 3:00pm Z-man games Create the best B movie ever Ann Towey
    Description:
    I'll be bringing out Canibal Pygmies, Grave Robers, Bellbottom Badasses, Scurvy Musketeers, Kung Fu Samurai, and Berserker Halflings for a real B movie grindhouse match. We can mix, match. Whatever floats your boat.

  • 1:30pm to 5:00 pm "Thorvald Takes a Journey" from Thovalds Saga Brother Terry Callahan
    Description:
    25mm Skirmish
    Thorvald will be taking a short trip with a few companions. He meets a few Vikings along the way and being Vikings they all sit down and have tea! Not!
    Players: Room for lots of people including the late starters

  • 2:30pm to 4:30pm Dungeon Crawl Brother Bill Lukash
    Description:
    Do you dare enter the Big, Dark, Scary Dungeon of Doom. Some players will attempt to fight their way past the dungeon denizens and steal the treasure. One player is the "Dungeon Master", his job is to try and keep the players away from the treasure.

  • 4:30pm to 6:00pm Gyparody Brother Rodney "Man of Trivia" Ruff
    Description:
    Come play Rodney's exciting Trivia game. Similar in format to Jeopardy, but the topics and answers are (usually) Comic/SciFi/Science/Fantasy/Filk/TV related.

    Description:
    Organizational meeting for those interested in doing a Sport of Kings Campaign. Sides and first move will be completed at site.

  • 7:30pm to late (ish) Arkham Horror Boardgame - Brother Travis Heermann
    Description:
    The town of Arkham, Massachusetts, is in a panic. Horrific and bizarre events have begun to occur with increasing frequency all seeming to point towards some cataclysmic event in the near future that may spell disaster for everyone. Only one small band of investigators can save Arkham from the Great Old Ones and destruction! Arkham Horror was originally published by Chaosium, Inc., almost two decades ago.     Description:
    The Turks are active again pressuring the Austrian empire's Border. An Austrian General has been dispatched to show Mustafa who is boss, but look at all that pretty Cav. Austrians v. Ottomans. We must fight them in the Balkans or fight them at the gates of Vienna.

  • 7:00pm to 9:00pm-ish The Great Dalmutti- Card Game - Brother Rodney "Man of Trivia" Ruff
    Description:
    In The Great Dalmuti, life isn't fair. One round you're at the top of the heap, and the next you're peasant scum in this fast-paced card game of medieval one-upmanship! Players take their places in the pecking order and try to get rid of the cards in their hands. The faster you do, the higher you'll go. But don't get comfortable, because in a single hand even the lowliest serf can knock you back to the fields. Sound unfair? Sure it is! But the sweet taste of victory could make it all worthwhile.

  • All Day Swaps/Sale Table
    Bring down the gaming stuff (minis, board games, etc...) that you don't want anymore and see if you can unload them on someone else.
